About the Owner

Born and raised in New York City, known to family and close friends as Nay-Nay, Daneshia launched Love Nesh Skin Care in July 2020 in Rhode Island.  In 2012, she started to suffer from what doctors called “unknown skin pain” on her legs and would later discover lotion would make her skin feel worse.  During her pregnancy, she suffered from persistent dry and itchy skin, despite what product she used, she always had issues soothing her skin.  Her 1st body butter was made in 2017 using raw African Shea Butter and the nominal number of organic carrier oils as possible, a difference was noticed nearly instantly.  After her son was born, she stopped using homemade products and started having issues with her skin again.  She started to notice her son would often have patches of dry, red, or inflamed skin after his bath and using certain products.  Driven by this, she started creating body butters again to soothe not only her sons skin issues, but care for her own as well.  With “unknown skin pain” remaining a daily battle for Daneshia, she continues her journey to find a name for her condition and treat it as well.
